I definitely think that the act of waterboarding, or any other torture for that matter, is inhumane and unjust, no matter who the victim. I think what is most bothersome to me is the fact that the United States says that it is a no torture country. However, with the recent release of the CIA’s torture report, that is obviously not the case. If we are going to continue to torture the people we are angry at, then we should say that we torture the people we capture, instead of trying to cover it up. Better yet, find another way to get the information that they need. Torture is no longer necessary, we aren’t barbarians.
